Joe is a self-taught artist who is well known for his wood carving and Salish designs. He has received several commissions, including a mural project at the University of British Columbia (2007). He has been selected to create a large installation for one of the 2010 Olympic venues in the Lower Mainland. Joe is also the founder of 'Direction 7 Designs', which specializes in Coast Salish designs and large-scale projects.
