Nancy was inspired early on by her father who was a wood and metal worker. She has been carving poles and mask since 1980. During 1984 she carved under Tony Hunt and John Livingston. In 1990, she started to carve jewellery. In 1994, she helped to carve the world’s largest totem pole for the Commonwealth Games in Victoria. She has works in collections in Canada, USA, Europe, and Asia.
