Shevonne Leigh Hall (LadyBear) is the mother of 7 children and 9 grandchildren, and has been based out of Musqueam First Nation since the 1990s. Her love of art is something that she attributes to her late father David B. Williams, who was a self taught artist. She states that despite being removed from her father at the age of 3, creativity is in her blood memory. Shevonne describes art as being "medicine that helps with the healing of Indigenous people, and is known for her small scale leather works and jewellery, much of which consists of the use of abalone.
