All of the work in the creation of these small cedar boxes was donated: the boxes were steam-bent and constructed by Métis/Cree artist James Michels; the promotion and collected funds were be donated by Lattimer Gallery; and all the artwork was donated by the artists. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Aboriginal Health Program at BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre.
We are proud to have raised $11,550.00 during the 2010 Charity Bentwood Box Event, bringing our total to $14,150.00!
