Artist Representation

Lattimer Gallery has partnered with local Indigenous artists for over 35 years. Artist relationships are at the core of our business, as without the artists, Lattimer Gallery would not exist. If you are an Indigenous artist interested in having your work represented at Lattimer Gallery, we would love to hear from you.

Maynard Johnny Jr (Kwakwaka'wakw / Penelakut)

“I have worked with Lattimer Gallery for the better part of 30 years, first with Leona and now with Peter. It has always been a professional yet friendly partnership, bringing West Coast Art to the world.”

Corrine Hunt (Kwakwaka'wakw / Tlingit)

“Leona Lattimer told me she couldn’t buy my jewelry at first. But she told me why. I needed to finish the lines and upgrade the polish. I listened to her advice and she became my biggest supporter. Leona was honest with me and I honestly honoured her wisdom. I’ve been selling to the Lattimer Gallery now for 35+ years. Peter, her grandson, has only enhanced my relationship with the Lattimer Gallery.”

Jody Sparrow (Musqueam)

“Lattimer Gallery has always treated me with great respect and has allowed me to reach a more diverse clientele base with my Coast Salish Design jewelry. I’ve been able to grow a strong network of associates and friends through the unique opportunities I’ve had through the gallery. I’m honoured to participate in the Charity Bentwood Box Auction for youth, and grateful for other noteworthy commissions they’ve brought me.”

Steve Smith Dla’kwagila (Kwakwaka’wakw / Wuikinuxv)

“I’ve been working with the Lattimer Gallery for over 30 years and it’s been a great pleasure and a wonderful experience. “

Sharifah Marsden (Anishinaabe)

"Lattimer Gallery was the first art gallery to support my jewelry in 2009. When I graduated from Goldsmith training, it was Lattimer Gallery that hosted my first jewelry exhibit in 2015. I am forever grateful for their support and friendship throughout the years".
