Lynda Gray

Lynda Gray is a member of the Tsimshian Nation and the Gisbutwada Clan (Killerwhale). Her ancestral roots are in Lax Kw'alaams on the Northwest Coast of British Columbia through her late mother Nora Gray (nee Wright) and her late grandmother Elizabeth Gulbrandsen (formerly Wright, nee Moody). She was raised in the Eastside of Vancouver, and is the proud mother of two children: Robin Gray, a PhD student in Cultural & Social Anthropology, and Phil Gray, an established artist in Northwest Coast Tsimshian style. Lynda has been the Executive Director of the Urban Native Youth Association in Vancouver for many years.
