“House of 8 Arms honors the deep connection between land and sea. The artwork on this cedar bentwood box draws inspiration from the hidden world beneath our coastal northwest waters, what one might glimpse when peering into the den of an octopus. A creature of intelligence, adaptability, and mystery, the octopus embodies transformation and resilience. Painted by hand, this piece serves as both vessel and story, reflecting the rhythmic movement of the tides and the harmony between strength and softness that defines life along the coast."
