While Ken was originally from Alberta, he moved to BC when he was a young man, and began working in a West Coast style. He was taught by Russell Smith, Beau Dick, and Frank Charlie. Ken specialized in depicting Eagle feathers, which are symbols of both power and prestige, as well as peace and friendship. Ken Loo passed away in 2015.
