Doug Wilson's main form of expression is with argillite pendants, often with inlays of gold and abalone shell. Early in his career, Doug worked with argillite carvers Tom Hans and Pat McGuire. He also carves in cedar. Doug was a co-author and researcher of the book Argillite: Art of the Haida, which was published in 1980.
