Haven Clothing Collaboration

Throughout the summer of 2015, Lattimer Gallery worked with Vancouver boutique clothing store Haven to design a line of limited release accessories. Collaborating with First Nations jeweler Justin Rivard, we worked with Haven to produce a line of rings and cuffs that are a perfect compliment to the Pacific Northwest's hipster lumberjack look. Haven is not only a specialty clothing store for men, it is one of the city's best places to find one-off and extremely well made items. From accessories to jewellery to toques, this is the place to look for attire that is sleek and unique.
Justin created an oxidized sterling wrap ring, an oxidized sterling band, and a bold oxidized sterling cuff bracelet to compliment Vancouver's utilitarian yet cosmopolitan fashion sense. While sterling silver oxidizes naturally, Justin employed a chemical finishing technique to expedite this natural process, which provided his pieces with a masculine burnished look:
