Edwin Neel first started creating artwork in 2006, and studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2011. He trained under his father, David Neel, in the Kwakwaka'wakw style, and under artist Ron Marshall in the Nuu-chah-nulth style. He works in silver, copper, and red cedar. In 2015, Edwin won a YVR Art Foundation Youth Artist Scholarship for his contributions to the Northwest Coast Art market.
