Don Lancaster learned his carving skills from his father, Herbert Lancaster, and his brother, John Lancaster. He also learned a great deal by watching his uncle, Norm Seaweed. Don carves gold and silver jewelry, and has been working as an artist since 1986. He currently resides on Vancouver Island.
