“Reservation Dogs is one of the best pieces of indigenous art ever created, and I wanted to honour the series with this box. I represented the 4 main characters: Bear and Cheese are obviously Bear and Mouse Woman; Willie Jack is Raven because she uses her voice to push the elders into dealing with their issues and moving forward, just as Raven likes to challenge authority; and a Salmon Egg represents Elora Danan because she is finding her way back to her home and family throughout the series.”
