Walking along the beach in front of the bluffs, I had the privilege to witness numerous ancient petroglyphs glinting in the sunlight. One that really impacted me was of a number of birds and their eggs. It struck me as representing continuity, care and the importance of family. It amazed me that such a simple image can imbue as much meaning as these gouges in the rock. - Andy Everson
