"Inspirations for this painting arose from my thoughts about the tendencies of conformity within culture.  With this painting it is my attempt to portray “culture” as dynamic, in flux and regenerative.  As oppose to being conventional, linear, static and rigid. Much like the culture within our guts, influencing factors such as the environment and what you feed it will determine the health and vitality of that culture."
